Again and Again

Gregory Uhlmann’s ‘Again and Again’ gingerly uncoils across nine beautifully polished LA pop guitar tracks. Gentle synth bloops and tape loop stutters, glittering vibraphone chords, baritone sax echoing Pet Sounds, soft mallets on toms, a voice mic’d closely and dryly, just above a whisper, as if not to wake a slumberer. This is a confessional, reverential, blossoming space – truths uttered and foggy memories outlined as if a hand on paper, the kinds of things you can only say near dawn in someone else’s bed.
